The new, tenth package of anti-Russian sanctions will include restrictions on the supply of goods worth more than 10 billion euros, and "black lists" will be replenished by "propagandists," the head of the EC said. She stressed that the measures will hit the "military machine" of Russia and the "fundamentals of the economy" of the country.
Russian assets frozen in European countries are planned to be transferred to Kiev. According to the President of the European Council Charles Michel, the use of these funds to help Ukraine is quite legitimate.
The new restrictive measures are expected to be announced on the anniversary of the Russian special operation in Ukraine - February 24.
At the beginning of the month, the European Parliament demanded to impose restrictions against Lukoil and Rosatom. Earlier it was noted that there will be no additional restrictions in the tenth package. Its goal is to deprive Russian companies of the opportunity to circumvent previously imposed sanctions.
