The number of victims as a result of a gas explosion in Novosibirsk has increased to five

Recall that a gas explosion occurred on Thursday morning on Linnaya Street, 39. As a result of the incident, two entrances of the house were partially destroyed. 30 apartments were affected. A fire started in the house. It is noted that there may still be people under the rubble. Earlier it was noted about three dead and the unknown fate of 11 more people. Eight victims were reported as a result of the explosion. Rescuers on the spot continue to dismantle the rubble.

It is noted that on the eve of the explosion, residents complained of a gas leak. Specialists went to the site, but probably did not eliminate it.

The city authorities promised to pay 32 thousand rubles to the victims, and 100 thousand rubles to those who lost their apartments.

The prosecutor's office of the region began checking.
