Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands Alexander Shulgin said that about 43 thousand transit cargoes were blocked in Europe's largest seaport in Rotterdam, which were supposed to be delivered to Russia and Belarus. According to RIA Novosti, cargo transportation between Russia and the Netherlands is significantly hampered, since direct flights between the countries have been discontinued. In addition, the entry of trucks with Russian license plates into the territory of the European Union and the entry of Russian ships into European ports are prohibited.
It's worth reminding that since July 22 last year, the port of the Dutch city of Rotterdam has decided to stop container transportation to and from the Russian Federation. Due to sanctions and disruption of logistics chains, many enterprises in Russia have closed, some are on the verge of ceasing operations. There are difficulties with the supply of feed, components, equipment and many other goods.
