Cargo turnover of seaports increased by 7.5%

Compared with January 2022, cargo turnover in Russian ports increased by 7.5%, Rosmorrechflot reported. The volume of transshipment of dry cargo rose by 10.6% to 34.3 million tons, bulk cargo – increased by 5% to 40.6 million tons.

In early January, it was reported that the cargo turnover of Russian seaports last year recovered to the level of the pre-pandemic 2019 in the amount of 840 million tons.
