Public Chamber wants to increase benefits for the pregnant women so that the number of abortions becomes less

The proposal is aimed at reducing the number of abortions in the country. Payments are offered to all expectant mothers, regardless of their income level, RIA Novosti reports.

The proposal was made by the chairman of the Commission on demography, protection of family, children and traditional values of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Sergey Rybalchenko.

In addition to increasing benefits, he also suggests lowering the retirement age for fathers with many children. It is proposed to reduce the retirement age for them by a year for each child, but not more than five years.

In addition, it is proposed to allow mothers with many children to look after other people's children, acting as a kindergarten teacher. At the same time, the presence of pedagogical education in this case is not mandatory. It is also proposed to exempt large families from kindergarten fees for the third and subsequent children.
