Journalists from unfriendly countries will not receive accreditation for the annual message of President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov.

"Foreign media from friendly countries will be accredited there. We will not invite foreign media from unfriendly countries", - Dmitry Peskov commented. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Dmitry Peskov added that journalists from unfriendly countries will be able to view the appeal online.

Recall that the President's address to the Federal Assembly is scheduled for February 21. Last year, Vladimir Putin did not make an address, noting that he needed more time to prepare. The president dwelt on key aspects during his other addresses, he recalled. The appeal plans to focus on the current situation. It is noted that participants of military operations may also be among those invited to the event.
