A criminal case has been initiated against the President of the Notary Chamber of Dagestan and the chairman of its board, Shamsutdin Jalaev, who was deprived of a notary license, under Part 5 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — the use of a deliberately forged document. The basis for this was the materials of the prosecutor's inspection.

"Based on the materials of the prosecutor's check, a criminal case was initiated under Part 5 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the use of a deliberately forged document). The progress of the investigation of the criminal case is under control in the Prosecutor's office of the republic", - the press service of the supervisory authority reported.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Dagestan noted that in 2007, Jalaev signed a fictitious internship agreement with his father Magomed Jalaev, who headed the Notary Chamber of the republic. At that time, the person involved in the case was listed as an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which does not provide for combining with other work activities. His father gave a positive opinion on the internship and approved it. In 2008, Jalaev passed the qualification exam, and a year later he received a license allowing him to carry out notarial activities. The prosecutor's office noted that the internship contract was concluded without the original workbook, therefore, he was admitted to the qualification exam on fictitious documents.

"According to the results of the audit, the Prosecutor's office of the republic sent a lawsuit to the Leninsky District Court of Makhachkala to deprive the notary of the Makhachkala Notary district, who is the president of the Notary Chamber of the RD, of the right to engage in notarial activity and revoke the license issued to him. The court satisfied the requirements of the prosecutor's office", - the regional prosecutor's office reported.

The press service of the supervisory authority noted that the court's decision has not entered into force.

Shamsutdin Jalaev was elected President of the Notary Chamber of Dagestan in October 2018.
