As noted in the metropolitan Department of Transport, from the very morning of February 21 and until the end of the president's speech, roads from Novaya Square to Red Square, from Kitaygorodsky Passage to Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge and from Ilyinka Street to Varvarka Street in the area of house 5 on Red Square will be blocked.

Parking in this area will also not be available for the duration of the event.

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the president intends to focus on the current situation in his message. Participants of the special operation may be invited to the event, but Western media journalists were not invited.
