The USA has lost its status as the most attractive country for millionaires

Wealthy people began to leave the United States en masse, and the influx of millionaires to this country decreased by 80%. Experts called this trend a "wake-up call."

According to Forbes, citing data from analysts at the London consulting company Henley & Partners, the departure of wealthy Russians, Chinese and Indians from the United States is particularly noticeable.

According to researchers, in 2014, the United States was the leader among the most attractive countries for millionaires to move there. But compared to the pre-pandemic figures, the influx of millionaires to the United States in 2022 decreased by 80%.

From the first place in terms of the number of rich people who arrived, the United States collapsed to the sixth, losing to the UAE, Australia, Singapore, Canada and Switzerland. At the same time, millionaires who previously lived in the USA are leaving the country en masse.

Most often, wealthy citizens aged 50 to 60 years old, dissatisfied with the level of taxes and security in the country, flee from the United States. They are massively looking for new areas for investment outside the United States in order to move further abroad.

Analysts say that the migration of millionaires serves as a kind of barometer of the health of the investment climate in a particular country.

Earlier it was reported that against the background of harsh covid-lockdowns, the mass migration of the rich has emerged from China. They named Singapore, Indonesia and Ireland as the most preferred countries to move to.
