The category of "Non-food products" in the assortment of Russian retail chains has become one of the most vulnerable amid the withdrawal of foreign brands from the market. As reported by
Vedomosti, referring to the report of NielsenIQ analysts, the segment, which includes household chemicals, hygiene products and other goods, sank by 16.2%. In physical terms - by 11.1%, but increased by 2.7% in terms of money.
Representatives of the retailer "Lenta" indicated that the company's assortment is being reduced only in the segment of non-food products. According to NielsenIQ, the number of children's products on the Russian market decreased by 8%, and pet products by 3.8%.
At the beginning of the month, Unilever, which suspended investments in the local market and deliveries of its products to Russia in March 2022, did not rule out the possibility of a complete withdrawal from the country.
