The exemptions apply to graduates who live in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions. Rosobrnadzor offers to issue certificates to students without the need to take the Unified State Exam.

This was announced by the head of the department Anzor Muzayev.

He noted that now the department is working on how to organize the most secure exams for schoolchildren. Many schools in these regions have been transferred to distance learning. For this reason, Rosobrnadzor proposes, as during the coronavirus period, to replace the Unified State Exam with a school certification for those students who do not plan to enroll in universities.

Earlier, such an opportunity was provided to school graduates in new regions of Russia, TASS reminds.

It's worth reminding that schools in the border areas were transferred to distance learning last fall due to the increased shelling from Ukraine. In January, the Ministry of Education said that most of the schools transferred to distance learning in these areas continue to study remotely.
