Joe Biden promised Kiev "billions" of budget aid

US President Joe Biden arrived in Kiev on an unannounced visit and met with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky. During a press conference, the American leader promised Ukraine "billions" of budget support and a new package of military assistance.
"Billions will be allocated to Ukraine in the form of budget assistance", - Biden said (quoted by Kommersant).
The announced military aid package is estimated at $500 million, and it, in particular, includes HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
During his speech at a press conference in Kiev, the American president once again confirmed Washington's readiness to help Kiev as much as necessary. Biden was previously expected to visit Poland on February 20.
