The ruble lost 21 kopecks to the American currency. At the close, the dollar was worth 74.5 rubles. The yuan won back 11 kopecks from the ruble and became worth 10.87 rubles, and the euro grew by 33 kopecks, to 79.63 rubles.
At the same time, on February 17, the US dollar rose to 75 rubles. This happened for the first time since April last year. But by the close of trading, it had rolled back to 74.85 rubles.
