More than 30 countries opposed the participation of Russian athletes in the Olympics

It is suggested that in this case they can only compete at international competitions under a neutral flag. In the statement, the signatories ask not to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to the Games. The proposals have been sent to the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Recall that after the start of the special operation, the IOC made a recommendation not to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in international competitions. After that, the committee recommended admitting athletes on the condition that they would perform under a neutral flag.
