It's worth reminding that the meeting between the two presidents was supposed to take place on February 22. At the meeting, it was planned to discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation, in particular, in the socio-economic sphere.

Last June, the President of South Ossetia visited Moscow to consult on holding a referendum on the republic's accession to Russia. The decree on this occasion was signed by former President Anatoly Bibilov. Alan Gagloyev said that it is too early to hold a referendum, but generally supported this initiative.
