The court will for the first time consider the case against the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the mistreatment of civilians

According to TASS, the person involved is the Ukrainian military Anton Cherednik, who is accused under articles on forcible seizure of power, mistreatment of civilians, murder, and training for terrorist activities.

Such a case has been submitted to the instance for the first time, it will be considered in a general manner.

The case was initiated last summer. Investigators found out that a Ukrainian killed a civilian in Mariupol, who allegedly mispronounced words in the Ukrainian language.

Also, the Southern District Court will consider the case of Denis Muryga, a member of the Aidar* battalion, who, as the investigation found out, not only participated in an armed formation not provided for by federal law, but also received training for terrorist activities. The meeting will be held behind closed doors. The militant faces up to 15 years in prison.
