Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: Kiev will use fighter jets to strike new territories of the Russian Federation

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Kiev would not use fighter jets and long-range weapons if they were supplied by the West for strikes on Russian territory, but would definitely use them "to liberate Ukrainian territories".

"We can guarantee that we will use Western weapons to liberate Ukrainian territories", - Kuleba said in an interview with Sky News.

These weapons will be used for strikes on new territories of Russia, the representative of Kiev said.

Meanwhile, the European Parliament is asking the states to transfer to Kiev all types of weapons, including fighter jets, one by one the republics of the region explain that they are not ready to make such deliveries. At least no one wants to be the first.  Poland, which previously actively advocated not only tougher anti-Russian sanctions, but also for more voluminous supplies of military aid to Ukrainians, now, like Rome, promises to think about supplying Ukraine with fighter jets, but only in coordination with NATO.Warsaw reminds that there are other European countries that have much more fighters than it does. The United States has completely disowned the supply of its F-16s to Kiev. President Joe Biden, who spent several hours in Kiev the day before and announced a new package of assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, indicated that American fighters should remain in service with Washington.
