German Chancellor Scholz intends to continue dialogue with Putin

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is going to convince Russian President Vladimir Putin that "everything is not as he imagines".
To do this, Scholz, who last spoke with Putin in December 2022, intends to resume negotiations "in the near future". In an interview with ZDF, he indicated that he hopes for honest negotiations that will lead "to acceptable, correct results for Ukrainians".
Last time, the dialogue between Putin and Scholz lasted about an hour. They discussed the special operation in Ukraine, as well as the food situation in the world. At the same time, Scholz announced that he would continue the dialogue with the Russian leader. Before that, the conversation took place in September.
