"Having emerged from the pandemic threats, we have also achieved a brilliant result in reducing mortality — today we have one of the lowest rates in general in mortality from cardiovascular diseases", - the minister said at a medical forum in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The Minister stressed that this was facilitated by new approaches in the provision of medical care within the framework of the project to combat heart diseases. The Minister added that medical care, including surgical care, has become more accessible to patients.
Earlier it was noted that patients in the regions who had previously had a heart attack, stenting or acute cerebrovascular accident began to be denied preferential provision of medicines due to their lack of permanent registration in the region of residence. The head of the All-Russian Union of Patients, Yuri Zhulev, explained that the regions could have misinterpreted the new mechanism of preferential provision of medicines.
