Kaspersky: in 2022, delivery services and retailers became the leaders in data leaks

According to RIA Novosti, referring to Kaspersky Lab, we are talking about about 300 million data, 16% of this data - about 48 million lines — contained passwords.

"Most of the user data (64%) was compromised as a result of attacks on large businesses", - experts pointed out.

Delivery services accounted for 34% of the total volume of leaks, 14% - retailers. Kaspersky Lab cybersecurity expert Igor Fitz pointed out that the leak could affect any company. According to the firm's expectations, the number of leaks will increase by 20% this year.

As reported at the beginning of the month, the heads of large Russian companies, state corporations and departments are urging employees to abandon the use of Google services. In order for the use of the service to be nullified, they purchase corporate VPN services, network gateways, firewalls, domestic VDR solutions.
