Political scientist Gleb Pavlovsky has died

In the middle of the month, 71-year-old Pavlovsky was transferred to a hospice. In various sources, Pavlovsky's condition was called critical. In December last year, he was diagnosed with a stroke and cancer.

The information about the death of the political scientist and journalist Pavlovsky was confirmed to Vedomosti by Gleb Pavlovsky's friend Simon Kordonsky, head of the Department of Local Government at the HSE. He clarified that the political scientist was gone on the night of February 27.

Gleb Pavlovsky is the head and co-owner of the Effective Policy Foundation (since 1995).

In 1991 and 1992, he was deputy head of the Board of the Kommersant Publishing House, in 1994 and 1995 - editor and publisher of The Limits of Power, then - founder and co-editor of the journalistic review "Wednesday". On NTV, he hosted the program "Real Politics" since 2008.
