France is negotiating with Ukraine on pilot training

According to the head of the defense department, France proposes to train Ukrainian pilots at Polish airfields. As for the supply of fighter jets to Kiev, the minister pointed out that France is "in discussions" - the republic has no "taboo" in terms of probable deliveries of aircraft. At the moment, the official said, the priority remains the supply of shells, primarily 155-mm caliber for French Caesar howitzers.

"There is an urgent need for shells. Ukraine's capabilities depend on the supply of ammunition", - Lekornyu added.

In the middle of last month, we recall Paris supplied Kiev with 18 Caesar, as well as Mistral MANPADS. The French authorities sent six 155-mm towed TRF1 howitzers and two Crotale air defense systems, PRTC Milan, about 60 armored personnel carriers and HDP-2A2 anti-tank mines. Uniforms, fuel, shells and cartridges, first aid kits and dry rations, radiation, chemical and biological protection equipment were also transferred.
