The price of Russian gas for Moldova will fall to $1012

In February, this volume was sold to Moldova for $1,054. According to the head of Moldovgaz Vadim Chaban, this month "the purchase price of natural gas supplied by Gazprom PJSC to the Republic of Moldova, taking into account the calorific value, will be $1011.73 per thousand cubic meters." The entire volume of gas will be sent for the needs of LLC Tiraspoltransgaz.

To date, the state of emergency continues to operate in Moldova due to the energy crisis. In December 2022, the country's deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spynu said that Moldova had managed to gain independence from Russian blue fuel. Before that, the Government of the Republic obliged Chisinau National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) to change tariffs for electricity and heat due to rising prices for natural gas.
