The Kremlin has denied rumors about holding an emergency meeting of the Russian Security Council today

"No, there were no such plans. The president's schedule for tomorrow is to hold a Security Council, an operational meeting with permanent members", - Peskov said (quoted by Kommersant).

He noted that the security forces are taking the necessary measures to eliminate the sabotage group, whose actions he called "a terrorist attack." He also noted that the head of state is in the Kremlin and receives reports on the situation in the Bryansk region, including from the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz.

"Putin is in the Kremlin, he receives regular constant reports from law enforcement agencies. In particular, the head of the FSB Bortnikov, Defense Minister Shoigu and the head of the Rosgvardiya Zolotov report to him. We are talking about the events unfolding in the Bryansk region in connection with the attack of Ukrainian militants", - the presidential press secretary said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Earlier today, information appeared online according to which Russian President Vladimir Putin called an emergency meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, which will begin in the coming hours. Some insiders claimed that the meeting had already begun and was being held via videoconference. The reason for it was called the events in the Bryansk region, where today there were attacks by the secret subversive group on border villages with hostage-taking.
