Putin allowed to remove shareholders from management for the failure of the state defense order

According to RBC, from now on, with the introduction of martial law in the country, when the defense order is disrupted, the rights of shareholders and the powers of the company's management bodies can be limited and transferred to the management organization by the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Martial law has now been introduced in four new regions: in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

In the autumn of last year, amendments were made to the Criminal Code in the Russian Federation, which provide for million-dollar fines and the introduction of real terms of imprisonment for the failure of the state defense order. The maximum term of imprisonment is set at 10 years.
