Closer to the front - more hryvnias: the size of payments was revised for the Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov announced a revision of the amount of payments to military personnel, so that everything becomes "fair", according to Ukrainian media: 

"We received signals from the fighters that the guys who really risk their lives receive 100,000 hryvnias (204 thousand rubles). And the support forces that are located 20-30-40 km from the front line and do not put their lives at risk so much, receive the same 100 thousand. This is unfair", - the minister said.

So, from now on, according to Reznikov:

- 100 thousand hryvnias (204 thousand rubles) are received only by those who are "at zero" (that is, on the front line). "If you want to get more, you have motivation – please, you can submit a report, and you will be transferred to the collision line";

- Those who need rest and rotation, but at the same time can perform less risky combat missions, receive 30,000 hryvnias (61,200 rubles) plus monetary support;

- All the others are only monetary security.

At the same time, the Minister announced an increase in the basic monetary security by 30%. From now on, a soldier-shooter of the lowest category, who received 13,000 hryvnia (26,520 rubles), will receive 20,000 hryvnia (40,800 rubles).
