Moscow authorities have announced a competition for grants for city non-profit organizations specializing in providing assistance to participants of the special operation and their families. This was reported by Deputy Mayor Anastasia Rakova.

"We are launching a special grant competition for socially oriented NGOs that are working on programs to help their participants and their loved ones. The total amount of financial support will amount to 90 million rubles", - said Rakova, whose words are presented on the website of the metropolitan city administration.

The proposed grants are divided into six areas, as well as three categories, depending on the funds allocated. So, the size of a small grant will be up to 1 million rubles, medium — 1-2 million rubles, large — 2-3 million rubles.

Acceptance of applications from NGOs starts on March 6 and will last until April 5. The results of the competition will be announced on May 15, and organizations will be able to start implementing the proposed projects in June.
