The regulator said that banks will still not be able to charge citizens a commission when issuing currency from accounts and deposits.

In September last year, the Central Bank announced that it had extended the ban for banks to charge such a commission until March 9, 2023. This ban was introduced on March 11 and was supposed to be in effect until September 9.
