The FSB reported on the failure of the assassination attempt of the Ukrainian special services on Konstantin Malofeyev

According to the Central Security Service of the FSB of Russia, the security forces were able to prevent an attempt on the chairman of the board of directors of the Tsargrad Group of companies Konstantin Malofeyev. The attackers were going to detonate homemade explosives under Malofeyev's car, just as it happened in the case of the murder of journalist Daria Dugina.

It is clarified that the organizer of the attempt on Malofeyev - Kapustin - acts under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he participated in hostilities against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the Ukrainian side, is a citizen of Russia.

Daria Dugina, the daughter of the Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, died on August 20 last year. Her car exploded. A day later, the FSB announced the disclosure of the crime, accusing the Ukrainian special services of organizing it. The agency named Natalia Vovk, a citizen of Ukraine, as the performer.

It's worth reminding that Google blocked Tsargrad in July 2020 after Malofeyev came under US sanctions. Courts in Russia have declared the blockages illegal. For each day of non-execution of the court's decision to cancel such a block, a penalty of 100 thousand rubles was collected from Google. In August 2021, the Tsargrad TV channel refused to enter into a settlement agreement with Google in the case of the removal of his YouTube channel. In early February 2023, it was reported that Malofeyev could lose his $5.4 from American accounts - according to the decision taken by the court in New York, they are allowed to be confiscated by the United States Attorney's office. This is the first court decision on the confiscation of assets of Russian entrepreneurs since the creation of the KleptoCapture task force, which will allow transferring funds for the restoration of Ukraine.
