FSB deported a migrant who planned to join the Ukrainian army

The capital's FSB department issued a warning to a visitor from Central Asia who planned to join the ranks of the Ukrainian army. After the detention, the migrant confirmed his plans. He was deported from Russia.

It is noted that the newcomer had previously served in his homeland as a marksman in a motorized rifle brigade. During the interrogation, he confessed that he was offered on the Internet to join the military units of Ukraine for a fee.

Under Article 359 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (mercenary activity), the migrant was warned against committing a crime that could threaten the security of Russia. The migrant was deported from the country and banned from entering Russia.

Earlier, the FSB reported about the warning of a resident of the capital from committing treason. She planned to provide financial assistance to the Ukrainian military. A resident of Moscow was detained while trying to go abroad. A criminal case was opened against her. She's under arrest now. She faces up to 20 years in prison.
