The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation: retaliation strikes have been inflicted on Ukraine

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the massive strikes on the Ukrainian military infrastructure were retaliatory steps to the terrorist attacks staged by Kiev in the Bryansk region on March 2.

"High-precision weapons, including a hypersonic Dagger, hit key elements of the military infrastructure, defense industry and energy of Ukraine", - the defense ministry said.

As a result of the strike on Ukraine, the locations of the strike drones were eliminated, the agency reported. In addition, the transfer of reserves and railway transportation of foreign weapons was disrupted, military equipment repair and ammunition production facilities were disabled.

On March 2, the governor of the Bryansk region announced the penetration of the sabotage and reconnaissance force into the territory of the region. Information about the hostage-taking appeared in the media, which was also reported by eyewitnesses. The Kremlin called the attacks on the villages of the Bryansk region a terrorist attack. Two civilians were reported dead, a child was hospitalized with a wound.
