This is reported by Kommersant with reference to the data of participants in the logistics industry of the Russian Federation.
"Yesterday we started receiving notifications from agents that previously agreed flight bookings are being canceled. They said that the reason is that goods in transit for Turkey are no longer sent to Russia", - the publication quotes the words of the head of the Optimalog company, Georgy Vlastopulo.
Officially, the Turkish authorities have not imposed bans on the transit of goods to the Russian Federation and documents about this have not been published anywhere. The appearance of such traces would be unprofitable for the current leadership of the country, since it would confirm the fact of their participation in the supply of sanctioned products to Russia.
However, the real obstacles to transit have already begun to act. It is possible that their introduction followed the visit of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Turkey.
Mainly, electronics in Russia is supplied through the UAE: its exports have grown all over the year — up to $300 million. At the same time, the trade turnover between the Russian Federation and Turkey doubled in the first three quarters of 2022 to $45 billion.
