The Moscow Mayor's Office has accused the Donstroy company of illegal earthworks that led to an accident on a new branch of the metro.

As reported in the metropolitan Department of Transport, the Moscow Mayor's Office appealed to the police on the fact of the morning incident in the subway.

City hall officials demanded to conduct an inspection and initiate a criminal case against representatives of the construction company "Donstroy", which "without coordination with the Moscow metro" organized drilling work on the subway tunnel between the stations "Michurinsky Prospekt" and "Aminevskaya".

According to RBC with reference to deptrans data, a drilling machine of a construction company drilled a hole, "which led to the release of clay and sand on the path".

Earlier it was reported that an accident occurred on the new branch of the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line (BCL) of the Moscow metro, which was put into operation on March 1. Right in the tunnel, water and dirty sludge began to flow onto the rails. Due to the emergency, the movement of trains on the section between the stations "Innovative" and "Aminevskaya" had to be stopped.

A total of 31 stations are located on the BCL, which has a length of about 70 km. The opening of the BCL was to significantly reduce the travel time for many metro passengers, and make the movement along the "subway" more convenient.
