North Korea launched two ballistic missiles

According to the Korean Central Telegraph Agency, and earlier Japanese and South Korean media, Pyongyang launched two medium-range ballistic missiles on March 14. As a result, they hit a conditional target at a distance of about 611 km. The commander of the missile unit stressed that he was confident in the ability of the DPRK army to eliminate the enemy in a combat collision.

The day before, we recall, the joint exercises of South Korea and the United States started. The day before them - on March 12 - the DPRK also launched missiles.

The North Korean authorities consider the joint actions of Seoul and Washington to be "preparation for unleashing an aggressive war." On March 9, the country launched a short-range ballistic missile. The missile was aimed towards the Sea of Japan. Earlier, the United States declared its readiness to use nuclear weapons against the DPRK in the event of aggression on its part against Seoul.
