The Pentagon has published an alleged video of an emergency situation with an MQ-9 drone over the Black Sea

"Drone footage, which allegedly shows the Russian Su-27, appeared on the website for military-related releases", - RIA Novosti reports.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, on March 14, an American MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with the transponder turned off violated the border of the temporary airspace use area over the Black Sea and was moving towards the Russian border in Crimea. In this regard, fighters were lifted into the air in order to identify the violator.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the reason for the drone's fall was a sharp maneuvering, which led to an uncontrolled flight and a fall into the Black Sea. Russian combat aircraft did not use airborne weapons, the ministry stressed. In the United States, unsafe maneuvering of a Russian fighter is considered the reason for the drone's fall.
