During the night, 2 flights out of 57 were carried out from Sochi International Airport. The reason for this was a difficult meteorological situation — heavy fog. This was reported in the press service of the company "Aerodynamics", which manages the airports of Sochi, Anapa and Krasnodar.
"A difficult meteorological situation remains in the area of Sochi airport. Fog and low clouds do not allow crews to land at the airport. Airlines are rescheduling flights to a later period. Over the past night, 2 out of 57 flights have been completed", - Aerodynamics reported (quoted by Kommersant).
According to the publication, a yellow level of weather danger has been declared in Sochi. According to the information on the online scoreboard, 26 flights have been delayed at the moment. At night, flights to the resort airport were canceled by Aeroflot. It is expected that heavy fog will last until the evening of March 19.
