Italy, by court decision, will extradite the son of the Krasnoyarsk governor of the Uss to the United States

According to RIA Novosti, the decision on the extradition of entrepreneur Artyom Uss was made on February 27. The Ussa defense did not agree with the court's ruling and announced its intention to appeal it to the Court of Cassation.

The appeal procedure, according to lawyers, can take from three to six months.

Earlier it was reported that the son of the Krasnoyarsk governor was detained in October last year at the Milan airport while trying to fly to Turkey.

A warrant for the arrest of Uss Jr. was issued by the US authorities on charges of circumventing sanctions and money laundering, brought against the entrepreneur by the US Department of Justice.

Along with Uss, five more citizens of the Russian Federation and two Venezuelans are being held in the case.

In November, it became known that Artyom Uss was released from an Italian prison under house arrest at the request of lawyers. His father, the Krasnoyarsk governor, said he considers the charges against his son politicized.

Earlier it was reported that in the region, which is headed by the father of the arrested entrepreneur Artem Uss, he had a large forest business.
