A total of 855 people were detained.

According to the BFM TV channel, referring to the head of the French Interior Ministry Gerald Darmanin, "855 people were detained throughout France, of which 843 people have already been taken into custody".

12 thousand police officers have been sent to the cities where the rallies will be held on March 22 to ensure a lock. Five thousand of them will keep order in Paris.

The day before, it was known about more than 140 detainees in the French capital. Clashes with security forces were recorded in Strasbourg, Lyon and Rennes.

Protests in France resumed after the authorities avoided a vote of no confidence. 278 deputies of the National Assembly voted for the departure of the government, while the votes of 287 parliamentarians are needed.
