Kaliningrad Mayor Yevgeny Lyubivy has resigned

The resignation will be considered at today's meeting of the city administration.
According to RIA Novosti, Kaliningrad Mayor Yevgeny Lyubivy wrote a letter of resignation on his own. The reasons for the mayor's decision are not disclosed. Maxim Bulanov, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, also reported on Lyubiv's plans.
"The head of the Kaliningrad city district Yevgeny Lyubivy — that's the full stop! Resign!!!" the parliamentarian wrote on his page on the social network.
It's worth reminding that the official was elected to the post of head of the city in October 2021. Before that, he was the head physician of the city hospital ambulance.
