The manager of the Ukrainian boxer Usyk announced the breakdown of negotiations on a fight with Tyson Fury

The fight between Alexander Usyk and Tyson Fury was the most anticipated in world boxing, the publication notes. Between them, they owned four major world heavyweight titles. Fury became world champion after defeating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015. Since that time, he has not lost his titles. However, now they have become vacant again after the athlete did not enter the ring for two years, the newspaper notes.

Alexander Usyk, the former absolute heavyweight champion, defeated Anthony Joshua in 2021, winning the IBF, WBO and WBA titles. He defended these titles last year when he once again defeated Anthony Joshua in the ring.

As the publication notes, the British boxer put forward more and more new conditions for the fight. The agents of the Ukrainian athlete agreed to them. Now the negotiations have reached an impasse again. On the official page of the athlete, it is noted that Tyson Fury came up with all the new requirements only in order not to enter the ring, since he obviously knew that he would lose the fight.

Earlier, the World Boxing Association demanded that the athletes agree on the date of the fight before April 1. The boxer's promoter said that now Alexander Usyk is planning the next fight.
