The village of Plekhovo in the Sudzhansky district came under fire from Ukraine on Friday. This was announced by the governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit.

"No one was injured among the residents, but the electricity supply of the settlement was disrupted due to the shelling", - he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor noted that the power engineers will begin to restore the damaged lines as soon as possible.

Roman Starovoit added that two private houses were also damaged as a result of the shelling.

It's worth reminding that border areas regularly come under fire from Ukraine. A day earlier, the Ukrainian military fired twice at the outskirts of the village of Plekhovo. Eight more mortar shells were fired at the Kursk village of Gordeyevka. None of the people were injured. On March 20, the AFU shelled the vicinity of the Kursk villages of Guevo and Gornal. "Apparently, they also aimed at communication towers", - the governor wrote at the time. He noted that there was no destruction then. No one was injured from the people either.
