VDNH rents six swans for the summer for 1.14 million rubles

According to the data of the public procurement portal, to which RIA Novosti drew attention, three pairs of shipun swans aged 3-5 years will be rented for the summer period for VDNH in Moscow. The lease is designed for 164 days - from April 20 to September 30 this year inclusive. The birds themselves and their maintenance during this period will cost 1,139,016.41 rubles.

According to the contract, the same cost will include the services of a veterinarian and an employee who will take care of the birds - feed them, monitor their condition, wash and clean houseboats and feeders, trim flight feathers, treat.

At the end of last year, it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had purchased gifts for the remaining foreign diplomats in the country. Among the purchases there are 350 tickets to "Swan Lake" for 5 million rubles, tickets to the New Year's show "Enchanted" for 1 million rubles.
