Joint exercises with US, Romanian and British servicemen have begun in Moldova

Military exercises JCET-2023 (Joint Combined Exchange Training) have started in Moldova, in which servicemen of four countries take part: Moldova, the USA, Great Britain and Romania. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.

"The servicemen of the National Army will conduct joint military exercises JCET-2023 (Joint Combined Exchange Training) together with colleagues from Romania, the USA and the UK. In this regard, military equipment will be moved from the base units to the training centers of the National Army to participate in the exercises. The press service of the Ministry of Defense asks citizens not to speculate on the exercises and the planned movement of military equipment, -" the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Moldova told Interfax.

The Moldovan Defense Ministry stressed that the exercises are planned. Activities within the framework of the maneuvers program will be carried out in the centers of the National Army in the period from March 27 to April 7.

The ministry clarified that the purpose of the exercises is joint training and exchange of experience between the special forces soldiers of the participating countries. In addition, the program is aimed at improving operational interaction between participating contingents.

As part of the JCET-2023 military exercise, live firing will be performed. The program includes skydiving, as well as maneuvers in the field with the fulfillment of tasks.
