Ten people were killed in a fire on a passenger ship in the Philippines

According to Reuters, referring to the Coast Guard of the Philippines, the fire started on the passenger ship Lady Mary Joy 3. At least ten people became victims of the fire, nine more were injured. Coast Guard workers managed to rescue 230 people from this vessel.

According to the local edition of ABS-CBN News, there may be 12 victims, including three children, and at least 14 hospitalized. The cause of the fire is currently being determined.

It's worth reminding that at the beginning of the month, 30 people were injured in a fire on a ferry with cars in the sea near the Turkish city of Tekirdag. Before that, it became known about a fire in the port of Iskenderun. Containers were burning there, piled up because of the earthquake. A coast guard ship was involved in extinguishing.
