The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China indicated that the government has allowed tourist operators to import foreign tourist groups into the country from today. The agency allows travel agencies throughout China to organize tours for foreigners according to the "ticket and hotel" booking format.

On March 15, China resumed issuing travel visas to foreigners.

At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, China adopted a "zero tolerance" strategy for coronavirus. China has imposed strict restrictions even in isolated cases of the disease.
