The IMF approved a loan for Ukraine for four years in the amount of $ 15.6 billion

According to Reuters, on March 31, the executive board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved a four-year loan program for Ukraine for $15.6 billion in connection with the "urgent needs" of the republic for financing due to the Russian special operation. So Kiev will be able to attract additional funding from "partners and donors", I think / t in the IMF.

Before that, the IMF board changed its own rules in order to be able to lend to states that found themselves in a situation of "exceptionally high uncertainty".  Moreover, this was done precisely in order to approve a loan to Ukraine.

At the end of December last year, the World Bank approved financial assistance to the Kiev regime in the amount of $ 610 million. The money was also approved for "urgent needs". Before that, at the end of November, the US Treasury agreed on the allocation of assistance to Ukraine for $ 4.5 billion. The head of the department Janet Yellen promised that the funds will be transferred in the near future.
