The Ministry of Defense does not intend to carry out the second wave of mobilization

"In total, more than 700 thousand young men have arrived at military commissariats and put on military registration", - said Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, head of the main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

In the draft campaign starting from April 1, citizens will be notified about the draft in electronic form, and in the absence of technical capability — by handing over summonses. 

He also pointed out that there is no second wave of mobilization in the plans of the Ministry of Defense of the country. The Rear Admiral stressed that there are enough human resources to carry out a special operation, especially since the department has recently significantly increased the number of contractors.

On the eve, we recall, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the spring draft. It is planned to call 147 thousand people to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
