The Deputy Prime Minister's office added that the meeting considered and supported, taking into account today's discussion, the draft government decree "On the procedure for providing additional paid days off for caring for disabled children." The development of the document is related to changes in the Labor Code, according to which one of the parents (guardians, trustees) gets the opportunity to accumulate additional paid days off. Within the calendar year, it is planned to use up to 24 consecutive weekends in total once. The initiative comes into force on September 1, 2023.
Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the creation of the Defenders of the Fatherland state fund, designed to support the participants of the special operation and their family members. Among the fund's activities are training, retraining, advanced training and assistance in finding employment for these categories of persons.
