Ministry of Health: 40 people applied for medical help after the explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg

To date, 25 victims of the explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg remain in medical institutions. The condition of five is assessed as serious.

"As a result of the incident in a cafe in St. Petersburg, 40 people, including three minors, sought medical help", - the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation clarified.

The city authorities will pay 1 million rubles to the family of the deceased in the explosion in the cafe, 500 thousand rubles to the seriously injured, 250 thousand rubles to the rest of the victims, said the governor of the city Alexander Beglov.

On April 2, a terrorist attack was committed in the cafe Street Food Bar No. 1 at 25 Universitetskaya Embankment during a lecture by war-correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky. The military commander died on the spot. The statuette, which was handed to Tatarsky by 26-year-old Daria Trepova, exploded. She was detained the next day and confessed that she had indeed brought a statuette for Tatarsky, and also promised to "tell later" who had given her this thing.
