The head of the Security and Defense Committee of the Assembly (Parliament) of Montenegro, Milan Knezevich, ruled out such a possibility.

"This is contrary to the Constitution, Montenegrin laws and EU regulations. This will not happen", - he said in an interview with Izvestia.

The possibility of transferring the property and funds of Russian citizens blocked in Montenegro to the Ukrainian side is "completely excluded." Soon, the heads of Montenegro will consider the question of how legitimately the assets of the Russians were frozen. In total, 44 real estate objects owned by 34 citizens of the Russian Federation were frozen in the country after February 24, 2022.
